Yamaha YZF600 R6 Supersport upper fairing
This is the upper part of our two-piece race fairing assembly for the R6. This piece is the headlight area with the headlight holes filled in, the right and left mids attached as a one-piece unit. This piece also incorporated the radiator shrouds to avoid a bleed off around the radiator, which helps control the air and is better cooling for the motorcycle. This piece only works with our 4YZF6SS2 super sport lower. This is legal for most race organizations and is a cool piece for a custom street bike. Get yours today!

If you're a previous Airtech customer, our parts are made slightly thicker, 30% heavier with DOUBLE the strength.

This is definitely the coolest race tail on the market for the R6. We’ve seen other tails on the market that are either real round with no body, no design or real sharp, boxy and look stupid. Our designer spends a tremendous amount of time in developing a solo seat cowl area that looks like it was designed on the bike. Several angles are cut into this profile and it looks awesome. There’s also enough side area on this for proper number plates, this is a race legal tail section for most race organizations. This is a replacement fairing for your broken street upper on your R6. Simply replace all of your bent brackets and headlights by drilling the mounting holes on this fairing and slide up to your chassis, you will mount it at the upper mirrors on the top and onto the fairing lowers on the right and left sides. Please not that we do not do the internal tab work for the headlights, but on this motorcycle it’s not necessary the weight of the heavy headlight is actually supported by they fairing bracket assembly. Our fairing is a little generous around the headlight area so that way you can trim it up a bit for a cleaner instillation around the headlight assembly. This is a cool piece for track guys or custom street guys. Tack guys love this because they can take off their expensive fairing and heavy headlight assembly. They simply paint this upper fairing and switch back and forth from their street stuff and there race stuff when they do track days. Custom street guys love this fairing because they can cut different headlight profiles in the front of it. We’ve seen people mount projector beams in them. This is a cool little piece. This is the right and left lower belly pan, the front radiator shroud behind the wheel, and the oil containment belly pan all molded as a one-piece unit. This piece has cut outs on the sides for your stock engine covers and does have clearance for a side stand. This piece will work with your stock Yamaha right and left mids, it bolts right onto your chassis, simply drill the mounting holes and use your existing brackets and hardware.
