Kreidler
Kreidler, the German motorcycle manufacturer had great success in the 50cc GP class in the early seventies. Dutch tuner Van Veen tuned these engines to great extent (19hp @ 16,000rpm, watercooled, dry clutch, custom chassis) and won the 1971 World Championship with a Van Veen Kreidler in the capable hands of dutch rider Jan de Vries. Two more championships would follow in 1973, with Henk van Kessel and 1975 with Spaniard Angel Nieto on board.
