Shown above is the Works set-up for the YSR50, with a GP styled upper, lower fairing, fenders and seat.
As far as 50cc racers go, the YZR is the hottest bike that NEVER existed. But, you say, surely we must be joshing you, isn’t that a picture of a YZR right there? Well, yes, you see what happened was this. Airtech owner and resident design wizard Kent Riches pulled out all the stops and created this bodywork to fit on a YSR 50. Kent began with the nose section off a TZ 250 and grafted it onto the YSR 50 lower section. The custom upper works with both the stock lower and the works lower.
To further improve his Frankendesign, Kent took the YSR 50 gas tank and molded it onto the seat assembly from a Honda NSR 50, which created a one piece body. This body has a larger seat pan area that welcomes bigger riders and features a two quart fuel cell molded into it for race applications. There are also front and rear fenders available. If you want the ultimate mini-sport bike, this bodywork setup is a must!

YZR501 - 91 YZR50 SLOPED NOSE RACE UPPER

This YZR styled front fairing with it’s sloped nose is surely the hottest, trickest upper in town. It will work with either the stock lower or our sculpted Works lower.

This number plate fits a stock upper and covers the headlight so you can run a number. Also a cool piece to do a cool cutout and shine your headlight through it.

This is our ‘Works’ lower for the YSR. The lower is styled after European 500cc GP bikes. It has heavy sculpting on the sides that resembles air intake ducts to radiators.

YSR506 - YSR50 DUAL HEADLIGHT UPPER

We designed this cool upper in the late eighties when dual headlights were the hot shit, and according to our style guru’s they’re about to come back into swing. Retro-chic, if you will. We designed this upper to work with Yamaha Zuma 6V headlights, so you’ll need to find yourself a set of those.
