XSRRT - XS650 RACE FUEL TANK

Yamaha XS650 road race tank
This is a modified TZ250 road race fuel tank. It was widened and lengthened to suit the XS’s larger size and the tunnel was completely reshaped to fit the XS650 backbone. It requires the use of the two mounting pucks and will mount to the stock front location. The back of the tank has a generous tab for mounting, the tank is longer than stock so a mounting tab will need to be fabricated and welded to your frame. Tank is supplied with 2x 1/4″ NPT fuel bungs, ready for aftermarket fuel valves (ask your sales rep, we can supply). Our standard twist-off stainless fuel cap is included, other cap styles (monza, flush) are available.
Tank is supplied in plain white gel coat, speed block paint job not included!

- Fabrication Lead Time UPDATE: Most fiberglass orders will ship within 6 weeks.

- Cutting, Sanding, Drilling, AND PAINTING likely required.
- Of course, all products require installation once you receive. Common sense is also required.

If you're a previous Airtech customer, our parts are made slightly thicker, 30% heavier with DOUBLE the strength.
If you don't want it thicker, please request "RACE-THIN" in the custom request.
We can also pre-prime or pre-paint your parts for additional charges.

F1 race fairing – upper only
We selected the upper half of our F1 fairing for this project because it complements the tank and tail and leaves the pretty motor exposed. It has slight hand bulges and of course a bitchin’ 70’s race style.
XSRRS - XS650 RACE SEAT

This seat started life as a TZ tail but Kent modified it heavily to work with the XS650 frame. It now clears the twin shocks and sits down on the wide XS650 subframe. The sculpting in the side towards the front breaks up the surface and makes it look less heavy visually. This is probably the best looking XS650 tail out there!

XJ71 - 85-86 XJ700 FRONT FENDER
Yamaha XJ700 front fender
This fender worked great for this project and is fairly universal since it mounts to a flat fork brace. The XJ700 had a 19″ front wheel but since the fender is so short it really doesn’t matter, even with the 16″ front wheel on this build it looks like it was made for it!
