HONDA CX500 1978-82
Who would have thought that the humble Honda CX500 would turn out to be such a versatile platform for customization? When it first appeared Cycleworld said it looked "like an aircompressor", the Brits call it the "Plastic Maggot" and the Germans kindly refer to it as "Guellepumpe", which is the tank pump trailer that German farmers use to spray cowshit on their land.
Ten years ago you couldn't give these bikes away but the cafe phenomenon has given the CX a new lease on life. Even renowned builders such as Johann Keyser at Moto Motivo are turning these odd watercooled, shaft driven, push-rod V-twins into very clean, custom bikes.
It takes considerable skill to make a CX500 look this lithe and good! We've seen a lot of CX500 builds but almost all of them use a stock tank. Johann used our BSAT3 fuel tank and carefully mounted it onto the CX frame. The tank completely transforms the look of the bike! Subframe and seat unit were custom made. We have several seat options for the standard frame. Call us today for a recommendation!

CR4504 - 67 CR450 FRONT FENDER
Honda CR 450 front fender
This is the front blade that replaces your steel front fender. Honda engineers have designed your front fork assembly to work with that heavy steel fork brace. Do not take this fork brace off of your forks because the bike will have a severe wobble if you do.
Simply tank your stock fender assembly and drill the rivets out, then move the fork brace and the front and rear hoops off your heavy stock fender. Then screw our lightweight plate onto the front fork assembly and notice an immediate difference in suspension and reaction handling.
