In 89′ Jetter John Boy Koscinski was tearing up the 250 AMA road racing series. Right behind him was a struggling privateer named Rich Oliver who was riding a Randy Mamola / Airtech sponsored TZ 250. SAR1 - SARRON FRONT FENDER TZ250 1979-90
Yamaha TZ250 Sarron front fender
Christian Sarron, probably the most succesful French GP racer ever, won the 1984 250 GP title on his TZ250, that featured a different front fender as shown on the replica to the left. It will fit all TZ250s from ’79 up to ’90.

The seat assembly was slightly different than the U-model in the very back of the seat, where it was slightly more angular.

TZ250W1 - 89 TZ250W FAIRING UPPER/LOWER

The bodywork, the seventh design change for Yamaha’s TZ, was a little different than the U-model version. The air intake ducts were moved to the leading edge of the fairing and the lower chin behind the tire was streamlined. Also, the lower was widened close to the rear tire.
