Yamaha FZR600 supersport solo tail section - Bowman version
The seat on the left has a story behind it. In 1983 Vance & Hines rider Jamie Bowman had a problem getting behind the bubble since he is quite tall. To give him more room we angled the butt pad area back and created some more space for taller riders to slide back in the seat. Both seats retain stock upholstery and have the tail light area filled in, though holes can be cut in the fiberglass to accept the tail light for street usage.

Those of you who have grown weary of unbolting all the pieces that make up the tail section of an FZR and want to save some weight and simplify your life, pay attention. These bolt on race seats are will serve you well. The seat on the left is our original patented supersport seat for the 600. It is to be used with the stock seat and upholstery. Covers up passenger provision.
