YZF 1000 R1 '98-'99
Way before the R1 "TORNADO" was released everyone knew it was going to be a hot model. That’s why our connections over in the great white north, Canada and across the pond in Europe started sending us body parts. Even before these parts were released in the country we had bodywork. We were able to get all the tooling done and have bodywork ready for Yamaha Factory Team, Graves Motorsports to go racing.
Not only did we duplicate the stock upper fairing, right and left sides and belly pan, but we also made a superbike style fairing that incorporates the upper and the right and left center sides into a one-piece fairing. We then modified the belly pan for AMA, FIM oil containment rules. We made a one-piece solo race seat, front fender, rear swing arm fender, heel guards and chain guards.
So if your thinking about racing your R1, take off your expensive stock body and save it. We can lighten up your bike and make it go faster.

Same as the competition upper fairing above, but with an endurance racing style headlight cut out to the left.

2YZFR11C - 00/O1 YZFR1 RACE UPPER W/MIDS
Yamaha YZF 1000 R1 Competition upper fairing – supersport
What we have here is the upper part of our two-piece race fairing. This fiberglass panel incorporates the main upper fairing around the headlight, the right and left mid sides, the inside radiator shrouds all molded as a one-piece unit. The headlight hole has been filled in for race purposes and a little bit of the front wind screen area has been raised up to make a race legal number plate area on the front of the fairing assembly. This unit is legal for most racing organizations. This fairing assembly can also be used for a custom street bike application. You can either cut the stock headlight shapes open, or a couple of cats eyes, projector beams or whatever headlight shape you would like into the front. If you’re looking for a race upper fairing, or need an upper to use in a custom street bike build, this is the piece you need!
