Product Type: Screen

This is a custom made part. One that we do not have a hole pattern for. Or there isn't a standard hole pattern.

We include a practice piece of acrylic along with a drill bit specifically for acrylic.

Sanding and trimming may be required if this is a bubble windshield where even the mounting areas are not standard.

Conventional high speed drill bits do not work well with hard plastics such as the high quality acrylic that we use, due to the following reasons:

-60 Degree bit that has a sharper point than a conventional bit

-A diamond dust coating helps the tip penetrate the plastic more smoothly, avoiding chipping and cracking

-Less pitch than a conventional bit

-A new bit guarantees a sharp edge that will make a smooth hole without riding up the drill bit

Drilling Tips:

-Do NOT support the back of your screen with anything! The screen should be drilled with no pressure on it.

-Drill perpendicular to the screen

-Slow to medium speeds work best when working with acrylic

-Let the bit do the work, try to take up to 1 minute drilling each hole

-Do not try and punch through the back side, once again, let the bit slowly cut through

Shipping within United States

We put all of our parts in boxes unless you want to pick them up. Within the US, most of our packages go out UPS Ground.

International Shipping

Are you outside of the U.S.? That's great! Just be prepared to pay a little more in shipping costs. If you have a preferred carrier we can try to cater to that. Cheapest international option is USPS (if you've got a few months to spare in shipping time). UPS/FedEx are middle ground for International shipments. DHL is luxury, fastest and most expensive.

Returns

Whew, first off, no one likes returns! Not you, not us. Just the shipping carriers...

We're a small business, and returns can cause a lot of issues. We try our best to make sure all questions are answered, and you have everything you need to make an informed decision. IF you're unsure of something, PLEASE ASK. Myself (Zach) will be happy to help you.

Okay, back to RETURNS

We prefer exchanges! You need a part, we want to supply you with that part. We know that it's hard to know exactly what you're getting before you put it on your bike. So we would much rather exchange or modify the part you ordered rather then take a return.

"So, does that mean no returns"

No, it doesn't. We will take a return if there's really no other option. Depending on the item's condition, there may be a 20% restocking fee.

Shh, We try not to advertise this, but if you ask politely (and pay for shipping) we will do a one-time modification to your part for free.

Alright, not too difficult to start! Please just Ask us directly here!

We should be able to answer your question pretty quick, if you have a photo to email us, you can also do that directly below.

Wow! Asking all the right questions, already!

MOST windshields are measured on their vertical centerline of material.

There are a few windshields that are measured VERTICALLY (Can Am F3 Spyder, Shoei FM 2/3, among a few others.

But for the most part, it's that VERTICAL CENTERLINE of MATERIAL. Let's break it down...

This means if there is a cutout in the middle, it's measured wherever that centerline of material stops. OR maybe it's extended along the centerline. Either way, measure that WHOLE centerline of material.

What if your centerline of material goes in the fairing and you can't see it? Well, unfortunately we don't have a lot of fairings so we don't know how much is covered vs. exposed. SO, in order for us to make the right size, we will speak in terms of centerline of material.

Whew! Next question...

Most everything we sell is made to order. Like literally, we do a lot of work after you order to physically manifest your custom part.

That being said, standard turnaround for windshields is 2 to 3 weeks depending on model. For fiberglass bodywork, that lead time is closer to 6 weeks to get your part produced. We are working on reducing lead times. Faster if you bribe us with donuts. (Just kidding. We work for Benjamins.)

Most of our parts are designed to bolt on with minimal effort.

If tools scare you, we suggest befriending a mechanic or bribing a neighbor. Like us, probably donuts, beer, or benjamins will do the trick.

We’re obsessive about fitment, but if something’s off, reach out.

If you've got a 40 year old fairing that's been "modified"(repaired) 15 times, and you're complaining that our lines are 0.24" off, then get to sanding :) Just kidding, we’ll make it right or help you figure out how to.

In all seriousness, windshields for vintage fairings often require modification to some degree.

If it's a modern bike, we will sort something out but your part's shouldn't have any fitment issues!

WE PREFER EXCHANGES.

If you think you're going to return it, please contact us before buying. We'd rather talk out any questions you have before making a custom part.

We aren't pulling these off a shelf. We're putting in "blood, sweat, and tears" in order to get these in a box.

Yes — but your country’s customs office may hold your part hostage for reasons unknown to mankind. We’ll get it there; the rest is up to the border gods. Bribes may be required.

More expensive couriers are typically faster and more reliable (imagine that...). USPS < UPS/FedEx < DHL

Absolutely!

In your mind.

Aerodynamics help, but we can’t guarantee horsepower unless you’re tucking downhill with a tailwind.

We stand behind our craftsmanship. If something fails due to our error, we’ll fix it.

If you close your garage door on your bike or let your wife's boyfriend take it for a ride... that's on you.

Yes. Every single one. Even the ones with weird capitalization, no punctuation and blurry photos of handlebars or accidental selfies. We're here for it.

Whether it's pre-sale questions or post-sale questions we've got you!

Honda Rebel 1100 CMX Windshield

Their Quality is Even Better Than OEM!

Marshamallow

They are a great group of guys (and gal!)—I’ve purchased several windscreens through them for my Honda Rebel 1100, and have always been met with excellent service. They were the first company to offer windscreens for their OEM batwing fairings, and while they do sell them in preset heights, they are also highly customizable in height, tint, etc., if you so choose.

Clean cut and sturdy in thickness, the quality is even better than OEM. I’ve had the opportunity to stop by their shop in St. Augustine; Zach, the owner, runs a clean and well managed business. I recommend his screens to anyone looking for an aftermarket windscreen, especially Rebel 1100 owners.
